Apple subsidiary FileMaker announced a new version of its flagship software product, FileMaker 12, with new database creation tools and themes. Mac version of FileMaker 12 gets enhanced 64-bit support as well as WAN support, improves large database support, and adds fast streaming of files and media . Creating databases and projects just got easier and faster with new, more intuitive themes on Mac. The most significant addition to the product is its more streamlined interface for creating interfaces that work on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. In addition, a new app for iOS device is available free of charge. The application uses many features of the desktop product, but is mainly used to run databases created by Mac.
