A new partnership between K4Connect and TheWorxHub by Dude Solutions aims to help seniors communities streamline the management of resident maintenance requests to improve operational efficiency and resident satisfaction, K4Connect said Thursday.

TheWorxHub by Dude Solutions will be integrated with K4Connect’s flagship product, K4Community, via an automatic upgrade in the first quarter, K4Connect said.

“Through this partnership, community members can submit and track maintenance requests directly from their resident K4Community app on their tablet, smartphone or computer, while staff can efficiently access and manage requests from TheWorxHub,” Ben Armstrong , vice president of product management at K4Connect, said in a statement.

K4Community brings together ‘smart home’ home automation products, wellness devices, software applications and even previously stand-alone systems such as TheWorxHub into a single system, accessible to residents via an app for them and to staff members via tables on board for them.

From routine maintenance to cleaning and ad hoc repairs, work order requests submitted through K4Community will be transferred to TheWorxHub operating platform for processing in real time. Operators will be able to respond to requests immediately, reducing turnaround time and eliminating the need to manually provide status updates to residents.
